Mission Statement of the Indian River County Historical Society

The Indian River County Historical Society, Inc., established in 1983, is a private, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization.  Our mission statement: to save, preserve, and restore the historical and environmental resources of Indian River County.  In order to accomplish this, the Society works with state and local governments, foundations, and citizens to raise monies for the historical preservation projects and educational programs.

Historical Marker Dedication of "The Bridges"

Please join us on Saturday, March 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Royal Palm Pointe Park to celebrate the unveiling of the latest Indian River County Historical Marker. We are commentorating the bridges that have spanned the Indian River to connect the mainland with Orchid Island.

Come and learn how the Young family has played a significant role in the past and current dedication ceremonies.





We offer a variety of levels of memberships.  Your donations and support are sincerely appreciated.

Family $35.00    Silver $250.00   Platinum $1,000.00
